Groom refuses to cancel wedding ceremony after his bride died on wedding day

43 year-old Fana Maphumulo, from South Africa refused to cancel his wedding ceremony with his wife to be, Nana Mkhize died an hour before tying the knot on their wedding day last Saturday.

According to reports, sometime in October this year, 42 year-old Nana had told Fana that she had dreamt she would die on her wedding day, but the couple didn’t take much notice of the dream and moved on with their wedding plans.

On the wedding day, hundreds of guests had arrived at the beautifully decorated wedding venue at Kloof Civic Centre, Durban, South Africa, to witness the couple’s big day only for Nana’s dream to become a reality.

The deceased, who is from G section in Umlazi, south Durban, South Africa, was reportedly admitted to the hospital the day before her wedding, complaining of feeling weak. She died an hour before it was time for her to tie the knot, reports say.

But amazingly, Fana from Hammersdale, west of Durban, South Africa, stood strong, continued with the wedding ceremony and asked the pastor to pray as he placed both rings on his finger.

The couple had reportedly been in a relationship for more than 20 years. They both have four kids and had been planning the wedding for many years before the tragic incident on their wedding day.

Ciara & Russell Wilson's Wedding Planner: Couple Moved Ceremony Out of N. Carolina Over Transgender Bathroom Laws

Third time was a charm when it came to planning Ciara and Russell Wilson's lavish wedding ceremony, says celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss.
“I did the whole thing — three times,” Weiss, who planned the Wilson's July nuptials, told The Knot. “They were first getting married in North Carolina, but they called it off due to the transgender bathroom laws.” (Billboard reached out to a rep for Ciara for comment.)
Weiss said the couple then set their sights on Paris, yet another failed destination, though, as Couture Fashion Week was taking place at the same time. Finally, the two agreed on Peckforton Castle in London, about an hour out of Liverpool. Ciara's bridal party included La La Anthony, Kelly Rowland and Serena Williams (who couldn't attend due to Wimbledon). The stress of planning and coordinating aside, Weiss said her favorite part of the wedding was the ceremony, "because they were so happy... They really are a very cool couple."

The soon-to-be Wilsons are only the latest addition to a growing list of big events that have been moved from North Carolina due to the controversial laws. The National Basketball Association pulled February's scheduled All-Star Game from Charlotte, relocating the festivities to New Orleans. Additionally, Bruce Springsteen,Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, and more have all skipped tour stops in the state.
And while Beyonce' performed as planned, she did speak out against the law, posting a statement to her site that read, "As the Formation World Tour makes it stop in the Tar Heel State in the midst of such a controversial time, we think it is important for us to bring attention to those who are committed to being good and carrying on the message of equality in this core of controversy."

Love is blind: 18yr old man and 71yr old granny to celebrate one year wedding anniversary (photo)

18 year old Gary and 71 year old Almeda Hardwick of Tennessee are ready to celebrate their one year wedding anniversary and say they have so much chemistry despite the massive 53 years age difference between the pair.

According to USA Today, the relationship began in June 2015 when they met at the funeral of Almeda's son Robert.
"It was like an instant connection. (There was) so much chemistry there," Gary told USA Today. We both loved music. I had prayed about my soul mate for like two years, so, you know.
''I was lonely," said Almeda. I had no one, so God sent him to me."
''When I looked into her eyes I knew it," Gary continued. "Her eyes were a dead giveaway."
"His were too ... I knew," she said.
After dating three weeks, they got married on Oct. 26, 2015, inside Harrell's condo. As at the time of marriage, Gary who had always been attracted to older women was 17, not yet up to the age of consent, but his mum permitted the marriage. The pair will celebrate their one year anniversary by October 26,2 015.

Almeda had been married to her previous husband for 43 years until he passed away in 2013 while Gary was dating a 77 year old woman before he met Almelda.
"I just knew she was the one, and she knew I was the one, and we just knew we were right for each other, so it really didn't matter," he said
"Everybody was happy for us really," said Gary. "Like the day after the wedding, I posted the wedding pictures on Facebook, and obviously (they were) shocked that we got married because nobody even knew we were dating or anything until I posted the wedding photos. They were like, 'Whoa.' But, I mean, they were happy for us. They didn't say anything about the age difference. Our family and friends support us."
I've never dated anyone my age. Even in school, I was never interested. ... I don't know why. It's just my attraction, my preference I guess," he said.
Almelda has three children and eight grandchildren. Two of her grandchildren, a 22-year-old and a 17-year-old, live with her and Gary.

"It's good," said Gary, describing his relationship with the grandchildren. "We get along really well. ... We have a lot in common obviously. Well, we connect on everything," Almelda continued.  We've never had an argument. Never fussed about anything. We always talk about things we like to do and places we want to go, and we act a fool all the time. He's always teasing me."
"She gives me respect, honesty, and we're committed to each other," said Gary. "She takes pride in her appearance (and) herself."
"He's good looking, handsome and he takes pride in himself too," she said. "I couldn't ask for a better husband. He's the best."\
